In short: no advertising cookie, no audience measurement, no social media button that follows you. That is why no banner asks for your consent.
What is stored in your browser
| Name | By whom | Why | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
scubrain-locale (local storage, not a cookie) |
This site | Remember the language you picked at the bottom of the page | Until you clear it |
__cf_bm (cookie) |
Cloudflare, our host | Tell visitors from malicious robots; only set in some cases | 30 minutes |
Both are strictly necessary for the site to work or stay secure. They are not used to track you and are shared with no one.
Fonts and photos
Fonts and photos are served by the site itself: your visit is not reported to Google or any other service.
How to clear them
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings (“Privacy” or “Site data”). The site keeps working: it will simply offer your browser’s language.
